Hello, fellow Miss Fisher fans!

It’s 25 days to con, and as you can guess, it’s pretty hectic in the clubhouse right now! It’s been a busy year for all of us and for the Miss Fisher cast too - and not just because of Miss Fisher and the Crypt of Tears.

Con is less than a month away

There’s still time to join us in San Jose if you can - weekend and day tickets are available! There are also a few spots left for our Saturday night event, The Curse of the Black Scarab; tickets have been opened up to the public, so grab yours today.

And whether you’re coming to con or just planning to solve the Black Scarab mystery at the Rosicrucian Egyptian Museum, you’ll need a place to stay - we have a negotiated block of rooms at the Marriott San Jose, right across the street from our con hotel. Book online for our special price, or call in your reservation at 408-280-1300 and tell them you’re with Miss Fisher Con!

We hope you’re following the travels of Flat Phryne on our Instagram - she’s traveling the world on her way to con, and spending some time with our intrepid adventuresses along the way. When you post your Phryne-inspired adventures, we’d love to see them - be sure to tag us! And if you're showing off your impeccable fashion sense the way that Phryne taught us, use #missfisherthatoutfit!

Something’s coming

Thanks to the generosity of some talented Adventuresses and our friends at Every Cloud, Acorn, and Poisoned Pen Press, we’re working on a way to bring some of the goodies of con to everyone - keep an eye out for a special announcement, coming soon!

Miss Fisher cast updates

Well, you may already know this, but there’s a Miss Fisher movie that will be premiering on February 20, 2020 (though don’t book your tickets yet - the date has been announced, but hasn’t been publicly verified by Roadshow, which owns the distribution rights). The Honorable Miss Phryne Fisher (played by the amazing Essie Davis) will of course be a part of the adventure - her name is in the title, after all - as will Senior Detective Inspector Jack Robinson (Nathan Page), Dorothy and Hugh Collins (Ashleigh Cummings and Hugo Johnstone-Burt), Aunt Prudence (Miriam Margolyes), and Cec and Bert (Anthony Sharpe and Travis McMahon)!

While you’re waiting for Miss Fisher and the Crypt of Tears, though, many of these folks have been hard at work on other projects! Here’s a quick overview:

Some of these will only be available in Australia, but they’re all worth looking for - it’ll be such a pleasure to see our Miss Fisher faves on screen again!

Cheers,
Sarah
